Much of my writing is focused on promoting various Penn State departments and initiatives. Over the years I’ve written promotional materials and contributed stories to several Penn State magazines, including Research Penn State, Penn State Ag Science, Engineering Penn State, and Penn State Smeal Magazine in the Smeal College of Business. I also write news releases featured on news.psu.edu.
In June of 2022 I wrote a piece for Penn State’s College of Agriculture Sciences highlighting outstanding senior Jasmine Morgan.
In the past I’ve written for Penn State’s Auxiliary and Business Services, producing news stories, feature stories, web content, ad scripts, and more to promote Penn State hotels, residential living and dining, the university’s airport, transportation, and all other business services. One of my favorite projects was a story I wrote about Lion Surplus, where trash is turned into treasure.
Over the summer of 2019, I helped promote Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences to potential students by writing a series of Ag Journeys. Here’s a sampling of these journeys: Maddie, Mitchell, and Caroline.
I have worked with marketing specialists and health professionals at Mount Nittany Health, contributing to their internal newsletter, a parenting newsletter, and a series of newspaper columns related to Covid-19.
